As a SWDA, CDPC has three main objectives:
- Facilitate capability development of people’s organizations for empowerment and advocacy that supports Indigenous Peoples self-determined sustainable development.
- Facilitate sustainable agriculture and management of the natural environment.
- Provide a venue for coordinated planning and implementation, where gains from alternative development work are articulated as a guide for continuing people-based development endeavors in the Cordillera region.
Ms. Cheryln Bernardo, a Technical Staff Social Welfare officer from the DSWD Standard Bureau, conducted a two-day in-person assessment at the CDPC office on August 28-29, 2024.
